I can't believe I have checked in at Longhorn 5 times and never gave it a review. All I have to say is the outlaw ribeye with the best steak you can get. The $25 I get three meals out of this steak. I have never been dissatisfied here at Longhorn. Ask for Michael S. He will give you great service.

I love the steak. I rarely eat anything but ribeye tho :) I would rate higher because I love the steaks. But the chain has sone drawbacks. The draft beer choices are horrible. EVERYONE has at least a couple choices of craft beers these days. Longhorn... Not. The presentation of the food is blah. It's more like what I serve myself when its just me at home. Cook up the steak on the grill, throw it on a plate and forget the peripherals. Can't be that way in a restaurant of this caliber. You GOT to have a nice presentation of food to impress people. You wouldn't expect much from a large mid-scale chain and I was hesitant to goto Longhorns at first. I'm pleasantly surprised but the juicy and flavorful steaks! Longhorns just might have the best steaks for value, and I go here every time I have a steak craving now. I feel just as satisfied going to a Longhorn as I would going to an upscale chain like Morton's or Ruth's Chris Steak House and spent just about half or even a third at Longhorns. Sure, Longhorns doesn't have the chocolate soufflé, but the Caramel Apple Goldrush just might curb the cravings. This particular location in the Winter Garden Village gets packed on Friday and Saturday nights. I was there on a Friday night at 8:30 and had a 25-30 minute wait and finally started eating around 9. They needed some help in organizing the hostess stand; they had 3 girls there and they were getting all the groups jumbled up and seating groups in the wrong order. I've been there a few times both during the week and during the busy weekend dinner times but the servers there have always been friendly and great!

Wow....3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant is less than half full and we were put on a 15 minute wait list. Six parties are waiting to be seated at their empty and clean tables..... Need I say more? LongHorn can do a better job than this.

Why should you eat at Longhorn Steak House? Specifically, this Longhorn Steak House? I'll tell you. The steaks are good, but that's no big deal, its a steakhouse. It had better have good steaks. The service is good, but that's to be expected. Happy, friendly, helpful staff should be a no-brainer. This Longhorn is clean, comfortable, and all around an excellent value for you money. None of these is why you need to eat here. The reason is simple: Steakhouse Mac & Cheese The new Steakhouse Mac & Cheese is the second best Mac & Cheese I have ever eaten. It is good... Real good... Good with a capital "G" good. Its got 4 cheeses, bacon and breadcrumbs mixed with yummy twisty pasta in a perfect ratio of cheesy, bacony perfection. You could almost make a meal out of it on its own, but it really is a perfect compliment to any meal. Go here and eat. 5 stars. I'll be going back as often as my wife will let me.

Ok but not winning any award for great steaks. Service was exellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Prices a little high for the quality delivered. You have a 1 in 4 change of getting your steak cooked that way you ordered it. . No real chief, just "cooks" in the kitchen. It is sad that they couldn't spend more on their chiefs and less on advertising.

I LOVE LONGHORN!!!! This place has great service and AMAZING food!!! WOOHOO I am definitely coming again and again and again. I love it!!! I Completely Recommend this place for people who love meat. Such as Three Cheese Stuffed Filet!!!! mmm that was really good. Or Ribs, they have really good ribs. It is also great for kids. They have a kids menu with Chicken tenders that are really really good. And they have great salads for people who are in the mood for a salad with chicken, steak etc. They even have a dessert sampler that is really good. LOVE IT AT LONGHORN

It's funny how the ignorant people complain about waiting for a table when the "in the know, intelligent ones" do call ahead seating. With that said......I have never had a bad meal here. For a chain they are pretty good. The steak is well seasoned and always slightly under-cooked as ordered(as it should be) as once it is over-cooked there is nothing you can do with it but throw it away. The service is sometimes spotty but it is what it is. And the chocolate stampede for dessert? Yum and enough for 4 people.

My server was great but the manager wasn't very accommodating when we found a hair in our Texas Tonion. I wouldn't return again based on that alone! Customer service should be everything when your dealing with people's food and my money!

I needed a real hamburger to fill up, and Longhorn is known for their Burgers and steaks among other things. I was in Winter Garden and hit up this place. I came with my fiancé for a nice lunch. Plenty of parking and walk into the bar area of TV's. The hostess stand is on your immediate left to welcome you. The whole decor is full of cowboy influence like the Wild West, you can keep yourself entertained by looking around . We sat at a booth. Our waitress was above and beyond with her attentive customer service - it's something you don't see much of in South Florida, so I enjoyed my time at Longhorn that much more. The warm crusty bread was served with butter on a wood platter. It was good bread. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger. Its a half-pound burger served on a toasted brioche bun and add your choice of american, swiss or cheddar cheese at no charge($10.50). I got the Cheddar on the side and asked for my burger medium. My man got the Primetime Burger. Its a half-pound burger served on a toasted brioche bun with shaved prime rib, sautéed onions, mushrooms and Swiss. Comes with Parmesan Garlic fries, au jus and horseradish sauce($14). Both our burgers were just Okay. I had Five Guys Burger and Fries Small Burger the night before and thought this burger was dry and overdone in comparison. The manager fixed the situation and was very friendly and accommodating which is why I gave this place an extra star. The Parmesan Garlic Fries are worth coming back for they were super Yummy!! Mmm I love truffle fries and these came really closets tasting similar. The portion of fries given are Not Generous on the other hand. Ide come back to LongHorn for a Steak or Salmon, Ill try Burgers elsewhere.

They don't seem to be a concept that is progressive. Just a value steakhouse. Server was good. Restaurant was busy. We had salmon salad and chicken wrap. Not real exciting, I get it.

Food was good and cooked well. Service is not good. I called in an order at 9:25p on a Sunday, the person, Jose, put me on hold and hung up the phone. When I called back another gentleman picked up and said its because they don't take orders after 9:15pm. I don't think he needed to hang up. The person who helped was good although he was reluctant because of the time as well. Experience could be better but the sirloin was good.

Went to eat with my mother and father for Mother's Day. I ordered something I didn't really enjoy much but it was still good. Just had a lot of fat and I'm not a big fan of that but the service was amazing. The manager came and apologized even tho I did not complain. the waiter could tell I did not like it very much and he went out of his way to get a manager and get my meal covered for. Everything else we got we loved it was just my meal I chose the wrong thing. But I am truly happy with my overall experience. Great staff. Great food. And we will definitely be back soon! One of the very few places left that care about their customers!

By far the rudest servers I've ever experienced having dinner with my family. Gosh.. Even the managers have a stink face on. I love long horns but this one is Full of bad vibes. My family was in shock with the amount of upset looking staff. Going to the one on idrive next time.

I have dined at this LongHorn Steakhouse before and have enjoyed it enough to come back a few more times but this last visit was not one of best experiences I have had there. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night and the place was busy but not crowded. We were given a pager and told that there would be a 15 min wait. Rather than head to the bar (like I am sure they would like) we just had a seat and within about 5 min, they paged us and sat us at a table right near the rest rooms. Our server "Whitney" was very nice and took our drink order. We ordered a Mojito and a glass of Chardonnay. A few min later she returned to tell me that she was new and was told they did not have Chardonnay. Really? I have never been told at any restaurant that they did not have Chardonnay. I looked at the menu and ordered a glass of Riesling instead. I also noticed on the menu three different Chardonnays listed.... ???? Oh well... Our server then took our order. We ordered the specials we had seen on TV... the Garlic-Herb Crusted Sirloin and the Bacon-Wrapped Bourbon Sirloin both with loaded baked potatoes. Our salads (both Caesar) arrived in about 5 min. Nothing special... Romain lettuce, parm cheese, croutons and dressing. Then our main course arrived after we finished our salads. The meats were cooked to order and tasted good. We both enjoyed them. The baked potatoes we got were cooked and tasted fine but we wish they had more of the 'loaded' items on them. I should of asked for more sour cream but since I am watching my weight, I guess it was for the best! A lady did stop by the table during our meal to ask if everything was okay. Both her and another man seemed to be stopping at each table at some point to make sure all was okay. For us, all was fine by the time she came to our table. I was full but my dinning partner wanted dessert and ordered the dessert sampler. Mountain Top Cheese cake, chocolate stampede and an Carmel apple gold rush dessert all on one big dish. I liked the cheese cake and the apple dessert but the chocolate one sort of fell flat. So much for avoiding dessert... By this point, dinner was what I expected in both food and atmosphere but then she brought our check. It was in the normal check holding wallet that you get with every type of meal but it was covered in grease and all wet! It was stuck together and I had to literally pull it apart to see the bill. The bill was almost 50% wet with water. After checking the bill (which was correct) I put my credit card in the slot at the top and set it on the edge of the table. Our server took the bill and returned a few moments later with it. She thanked us for coming and left. The bill folder was just as greasy and wet as before. I found my copy... signed the bill and left the wet, and greasy paperwork behind. In all my years of going out, I have never had a check presented to me in such a messy condition. Food = 7 Atmosphere = 7 Service = 7 The food is basic chain fair. The atmosphere was loud, busy and the basic look for a Long Horn. The Service was good but she lost points for the messy check. By the time we were leaving (around 6:30 or so) there was a 45 min wait and tons of people waiting around for a table. If you want a basic steak dinner with average service, this would be the place to come. I won't give up on them just yet since what we got for the money was good. Enjoy!

So unfortunate. Had a ribeye, smelled delicious, but ended up almost half gristle & fat. I can forgive a medium rare coming out medium to medium-well... somewhat, but can't abide paying nearly $20 for a (non filet) steak that's really half a steak. The vegetable medley was great, but that's not really what I came & paid good money for.

I've been here multiple times and each time and being a steakhouse I've ordered steak and it has NEVER come out right. I like my steak medium-well and apparently they don't know how to cook it like that. One time one half of the steak was well done and the other have was more like medium-rare; I don't even know how the managed to get it to cook like that. I decided to give the steak one more chance, this time I got a bacon wrapped steak, again, ordered medium-well. When I got more Oder there was no bacon, and it was cooked medium-rare. Before I even cut into the steak I told the waiter that I ordered the bacon one but said it was alright as long as I didn't get charged for it. Then I cut into it to take a bite and it was really pink inside, again I told the waiter and they took it back and said they'd cook it a little more... after that it was BURNT and totally dry. I ended up eating half of my boyfriend's dad's Parmesan Crusted Chicken because by the time it would have taken the restaurant to cook me a new meal everyone else in my party would have been long done with their meal. The staff was really kind about the situation, took the steak off our bill and apologized, but being a Steakhouse I found this unacceptable. I don't understand how the waiter could even bring the steak out to me after the way they cooked it the second time. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is delicious and the Wild West Shrimp appetizer is amazing, but I would NEVER get steak from this location again. And if you like your steak cooked anything above medium I do not recommend getting it from here. The wait during weekends is usually pretty terrible, but I've learned to expect that from any restaurant, it would be nice if they had more seating and room inside for guests to wait though. It is also far too dark if you go after sunset, its almost difficult to read the menu.

It was surprisingly very busy for a Sunday night and the whole experience wasn't all that great. Our server was decent but didn't really go out of her way to make it a great dining experience. I wasn't too hungry (my mom actually wanted to come here) so I ended up just ordering some sides instead of a full meal. After reading the description on the menu, I was sold on the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. I'll have to agree with Clark M. that the mac & cheese is good, real good!! It was made with a fun corkscrew pasta, 4 cheeses, and... bacon! Yes, anything made with bacon must be delicious! I also ordered a side of fresh seasonal vegetables to balance out my carb craving. The vegetables were steamed and not too flavorful but balanced out the heaviness of the mac & cheese. Besides my side dishes, the rest of my table's dishes were very poorly presented. A caesar salad came out with a piece of lettuce hanging off the side of a half-filled bowl. The other dishes looked like the food was just thrown on the plate with no thought into how it looked. Lastly, before everyone was even done eating, our server brought out the check and left it on the table. This is one of my pet peeves when I'm dining in a restaurant. At least have the courtesy to wait until the food is cleared from the table!

Very disappointing. Spent over $80 for my son and I for a nice night out. The bread was just OK. The salads were standard lettuce, under ripe tomatoes and nothing else. We both had steaks and added a lobster tail. I had the Rib-Eye and was very disappointed - it was tough. I am not anti-chain - but this one just seems to do things by rote. I wouldn't go back.

I love the food here. I have had some really great experiences and I've had some really bad ones. One thing that really bugs me though was coming in at 430 on a Sunday with a TON of open tables and being told it was a wait of 25 mins for two people. We would rather sit at a table and wait for a server than sit up front and look at all the empty tables.

I dined here last night for the first time. I realize this is a chain, but I do not recall any strong memory of visiting this chain before and this was my first visit to this location. I read many reviews from Yelpers and thought this would be a nice place to try. Upon entry we were greeted and handed a pager and quoted 10-15 minutes. It was early dinner on a Sunday, and they still had open tables. I didn't question it and we waited. Other parties of 2 were called and seated, including those who arrived after us; however, we were seated somewhat close to them so I let it slide. We were seated in a booth for 4, which made me question the wait to be seated... unless they were short staffed with servers or in the kitchen. Our server was decent, but nothing special. I really felt like he was bothered to be there and that we were disrupting his day... talk about welcoming! I ordered the rib-eye with the special mac & cheese (which they charge $1.49 additional for the special side) and it also came with a salad. My dining partner got a new your strip with fries with the salad. I ate from both of the salads as my dining partner prefers neither, which was nice so I could eat a fully green salad between the two. Lots of iceberg lettuce in the "mixed greens" salad, so I think they should just call it a house salad. The food runner was timid, but obviously trying. The steaks were both cooked wonderfully right to were we asked them. Unfortunately, the mac & cheese I was paying extra for was cold. When the server came by I informed him, he asked me to put it on a plate and he would get me "a new one." Another individual who I'm guessing was a manager (no introduction) apologized and blamed the kitchen for making it too early. (He didn't allow us to say anything to him. He said that and left.) The mac & cheese I received was obviously the same one (not a "new one" like the server said as I could see the seasoning from my steak on the side of the dish)... but regardless, it was enjoyable. My taste preference was that the seasoning on the steaks was nice, but very over-powering and peppery. If I return, I will be asking for less of it. The server did keep up well with our drinks, except when he brought my dining partner a cherry coke instead of a coke. That's when he stopped drinking anything and placed it on the edge...the server never came back at that point except for the bill. We experienced poor table maintenance, which made me happy we were at a larger table as our dishes and glasses simply accumulated on the other side of the table. This is a classic example of how good food (minus the salad) can't over power the service. From the hostesses in the front and their lack of eye contact, smiling, and flat out ignoring us as we left... to the poor service from our server, to the manager (I think) who tried to help but instead blamed it on the kitchen... your table touch would of been more effective if you would of allowed us, your dining patrons, to say something to you before you disappeared.

Serious about your steak? Try Longhorn Steakhouse legendary steaks. They really know how to prepare and serve steak. YUM! They also have great appetizers like the Wild West Shrimp, Texas Tonion, and Grilled White Cheddar Mushrooms. Chicken fans; try the Parmesan Crusted Chicken...it's like butter in your mouth. The chicken is so tender you can cut it with your fork!

Excellent food, great service. Gets very busy on some holidays with a wait time of near 90 minutes. Most people don't know you can get call ahead seating so if you think they are going to busy don't hesitate to call.

It is a great meal when I don't have to pick up a salt shaker, pepper shaker, bottle of sauce or anything. The steak, the sides, even the salad were perfectly prepared and seasoned. I dont often give a place a five star review, but this place deserves it.

The service was mediocre. Bread was served but no bread plate. I ordered the Ny strip and my Wife had the ribeye. Both streaks were cooked right, but tasted mediocre. We both had Caesar salad, and my wife's had no dressing. We had to go to the hostess station twice to ask for our waitress. She didn't check on us at all during the meal, but showed up after. It appears that she needs more training.

My first time eating at this location and it was a BUSY Friday night. For an hour wait the service was pretty good. My 6 oz sirloin and mashed potatoes were fabulous! No steak sauce needed!!!! I've been thinking about it ever since...the shrimp were absolutely delicious and plump. I didn't care for the bread but everything else

I had the strip steak. Didn't have too much flavor to it. Could have used some more seasoning. I got the Parmesan fries and I suggest everyone else to do so. They come in a separate side dish so your fries aren't getting soggy from the steak juice. The server Kyle was very nice and did a good job of getting the food out. Dessert was the chocolate stampede and it was really tasty after a hearty meal. Get here early if you don't want to wait.

This was my first visit to this location, since I'm spoiled by the staff and great food in Altamonte Springs,Fl. Our waitress was not on the ball with her putting the dressing on the salad instead of on the side as requested. Had to ask for bread a few times and it arrived after the appetizer. On a good note, we were visited by the Manager, John that listened to our concerns and was helpful, funny and gave us a very inviting feeling and this is the reason we'll return to this location. The ribeye steak is always the best selection, but this time we opted for the ribs. They were pretty good, very tender and everything came out hot. The sweet and hot calamari app was delicious. We love that the bread is whole wheat and always hot when it arrives. I'm a big fan of Longhorn Steakhouses and hope to make this one of my favs!

SERVICE IS THE BEST. We thought our steak was too small - they cooked us another one; no questions asked, no problem. WOW!

Well these guys got it right. Beers were tall and cold. The onion petals were hot and good with their sauce. Caesar salad was fresh with nice sized cheese shavings. We split the 18 oz. Outlaw Delmonico steak which was cooked spot on and tasted good enough to dredge my fries in the plate liquor! Hot tough or hairy. (shame some reviews will stay around for years.) 4.5 stars night.

Longhairs. I mean longhorns. A hair was stuck in the condensation of my water glass. It did not bother me until there was another hair in my salad. Waitress said she would send her manager by. He was bald and said it want his. No shizz. Manager acted like he didn't care. I will not be returning, and telling my friends.

LongHorn does a great job of being both a great lunch spot as well as a fantastic option for a casual upscale dinner. I thoroughly enjoy their healthier selections, their tendency switch up parts of the menu regularly, and the customer service they provide. I mostly frequent this location for lunch and/or order lunch for my office and pick it up. On one occasion a few months back we had ordered for about 10 and there was a mix up as many of the orders were customized but the staff was able to correct the issue promptly and to my satisfaction. Salads are increasingly popular these days but I am often disappointed by the execution and overall flavor, not so at LongHorn. One of my favorite salads is the 7 pepper sirloin salad here. It's huge and has tremendous flavor (especially the steak itself) all while managing to stay on the healthy side. Other than the salads I'm a sucker for their seasonal chicken dishes (balsamic raspberry chicken, chipotle orange chicken, etc) as well as their spinach feta chicken. When trying to eat healthy you don't want to sacrifice flavor and they do a great job of packing in the flavor without the calories. In addition to the food there are many other reasons I have and will continue to come back here. The staff seems to be generally cheerful which projects onto yourself as a patron. As a big guy I am also appreciative of the roominess of their booths. Myself and 2 other co-workers who dine out for lunch regularly are all over 6'2" and normally have to ask for a table as booths tend to be restricting but that is not the case here. There have been a few times in the past where during a busy lunch the food has taken longer than expected to be served. Even during these occasions though the server has always kept us in the loop and apologized. In spirit of full disclosure, I was recently asked to dine here by their marketing team to try out their new menu. It was made clear that no review was expected or even requested in return. Beyond that, I have dined here almost 20 times already, always having pleasant experience, so them reaching out to me couldn't really impact my opinion to be more positive. I will however say that I was impressed that they are aware enough of their patrons to seriously value their feedback and patronage. During this particular dinner our server, Ian, was top notch. I have dined at some of fanciest and expensive steakhouses in the South East and there is no doubt that he could easily be employed at one of them. It was my first opportunity to try the new balsamic raspberry chicken which is easily one of the most unique (in the positive sense) chicken dishes I have had in a long time. And I eat a lot of different chicken dishes. My date and I also enjoyed the chocolate stampede which could easily feed 4 people, it is that gigantic. It is also surprisingly inexpensive for the amount of food provided. In general I tend to favor independently/family owned restaurants for their ability to stay creative and in order to support people who are in the business as a pleasure as opposed to simply make a buck. I can say that after dining here regularly for the past year or so and getting to meet some of the management, not only is LongHorn able to keep their menu fresh and creative, the management is truly in the business for the right reasons.

Nice service. Food? Not so much... We have had good meals at this location prior to today, but today left much to be desired. I ordered a lunch combo consisting of a bacon and cheddar burger and Caesar salad while my gf had a French Onion soup and 1/2 chicken and avocado sandwich. The French Onion soup was good (just about as good as you can expect from this sort of place), while her chicken sandwich was quite tasty. The chicken actually had a great flavor, while was improved upon by the avocado and cheese. Apparently they put all the effort into her meal, because my meal was seriously lacking in the flavor department. My Caesar salad started off alright, but the dressing tasted as if it were watered down. I ordered my burger with a "warm pink center" and what I received was basically an overcooked slice of meatloaf stuck between a bun. And oh yeah, they forgot the bacon! So the highlights of the meal? The free bread and the kettle chips that are served as part of the meals Unfortunately, I don't see us coming back here for a while.
